TeamTrak is a workforce management platform designed for service businesses. The platform is used by business owners (Administrators) to manage their teams, and by employees and contractors (Users) to record attendance, view schedules, and receive payslips. References to "we", "us", or "TeamTrak" in this policy refer to the TeamTrak platform and its operators.

We collect the following categories of information: Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register. Profile Information: Job role, joining date, pay rate, and profile photo (optional). Attendance Data: Check-in and check-out timestamps, GPS coordinates at the moment of check-in/check-out, and QR code scan records. Schedule & Work Data: Assigned schedules, completed jobs, timesheets, and payslip records. Device & Usage Data: Device type, browser, IP address, and app usage logs for security and diagnostic purposes. We do not collect continuous GPS tracking data. Location is only recorded at the precise moment of check-in and check-out.

We use the information we collect to: - Provide and operate the TeamTrak platform - Record and verify employee attendance at job sites - Generate timesheets, payslips, and invoices - Send schedule notifications and reminders - Respond to support requests - Maintain the security and integrity of our systems - Comply with applicable legal obligations We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

TeamTrak uses GPS location data solely to verify that an employee or contractor is physically present at the assigned job site at the time of check-in or check-out. This is a core function of the attendance verification system. Important: We do not track your location at any other time. GPS data is captured only at the moment you tap Check In or Check Out within the app. Background location tracking is not used.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances: With Your Employer: Attendance records, timesheets, and payslip data are visible to the account administrator (your employer or manager) on the TeamTrak platform. Service Providers: We use trusted third-party providers for cloud hosting, analytics, and email delivery. These providers process data only on our behalf and under strict data protection terms. Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When an account is closed or deleted, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as payroll records, which may be retained for up to 7 years in accordance with tax regulations).

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: - Right to Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you. - Right to Correction: Request that inaccurate data be corrected. - Right to Deletion: Request that your data be deleted, subject to legal retention requirements. - Right to Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format. - Right to Object: Object to how your data is processed in certain circumstances. We take data security seriously. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account and to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Our web platform uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyse usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the platform.

TeamTrak is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify users via the app or by email. The date at the top of this page will always reflect when the policy was last updated. Continued use of TeamTrak after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
